Hello, thanks
for checking in 👋🏼

I build mobile-first, accessible, high-performance websites using a range of modern technologies.

After several years spent working as a designer I moved into web development over 12 years ago, coding static websites using HTML and CSS.

It's been quite the journey since then and my experience now encompasses a broad range of languages, frameworks and content management systems.

Make your website fast, secure, and built to last...

If you're considering your website technology options, I'd definitely recommend making the switch to a headless CMS for the following reasons;

  • Improved performance - Content is delivered faster and more efficiently, resulting in a better user experience, more conversions and lower bounce rates
  • Greater security - The risk of security breaches are reduced, as any vulnerabilities on the front-end do not directly impact the back-end, and vice versa
  • Infinite flexibility - A headless CMS allows you to drop outdated technology by swapping out the front-end if required and your content can stay where it is

Farnham Arts Centre

I built the Farnham Arts Centre website using Payload CMS which is essentially an open-source Next.js back-end that I then hooked up to a MongoDB database.

With Figma's recent acquisition of Payload, its great editor experience and no vendor lock-in, Payload makes a great CMS option.

Limelight Event Services

The team at Limelights' needed a new website that prioritised mobile performance and was easy for them to update.

I achieved this by pairing the front-end performance of Next.js with the user friendly Prismic CMS page builder.
